Trip Home
Between courses, I made my way back to Spokane.
for Lily's Birthday:
The first party was with some of the family.

August Highlights
Highlights in August include:
Lilith Fair!
Found someone who had an extra ticket they gave us. And then bought a ticket from a guy who had an extra one. Eileen and I saw Courtyard Hounds and Sarah McLachlan and some others!

And what a trip this is!
Contrary to popular belief.

We made time to celebrate Qudsiyya's (standing left) and Amanda's (standing right) birthdays! (Thanks for the homemade cookies Zahra!)

July Highlights
Highlights in July include:
Nature walks in the backyard. These walks revealed amazing creatures living in the common areas behind the houses.
What created this? And what did they want?
Theory: Some parent laid their eggs and also the means to feed them when they arrive. What a trap!
What fun a nature walk can reveal!

Here they are again! Natassa and Eileen!
Here I am on the first day of class:
And the roommates needed coffee first.

(Lily wrote the first one- "Welcome Home!" or something like that.)

One of the lessons during the Montessori Foundation Course came home:
Arranging flowers.
I also learned of a new place to put my GPS:
Which helped me find downtown Columbia and the Friday night outdoor movies...

and an International Festival.
